How to Make a Minimal and Beautiful Journal Spread

 

Fairytales have been an integral part of our childhoods. Growing up, we have heard and read many once upon a time stories that transported us to a fascinating world of wonder. Their interesting plot, vivid characters and magical settings were colourful, lively and specifically designed to feed our imagination as a child.

Looking back as a grown-up who has learnt to see beyond the fancy elements, the charm of fairy tales is still isn’t lost. Fairy tales are more than just imaginative stories, they have become a powerful tool that convey the most profound messages in an engaging way. We marvel at the resilience of Cinderella who believed in her dreams, the compassion of Belle who never judged the Beast by his appearance and the bravery of Snow White who dared to stand up to evil.

Inconspicuously, with simple stories, magnificent castles, fantastical creatures and spells, they have been shaping up our childhood, teaching us the way of the world and right from wrong. This journal spread is all about recreating the happy memories of reading fairy tales with bullet journal ideas.

Here are the steps to recreate this fairytale BuJo by @artsthetic_diaries-

 

Materials Required

1. First of all, paste two old paper cuttings on the top and bottom of the bullet journal notebook. These paper cuttings have old English phrases with symbols of musical notes that add a vintage effect to the spread.
2. The protagonists of most fairytales like Cinderella, Rapunzel etc. are women. So, here a picture of a woman in an aesthetic attire is pasted on the journal notebook.
3. Next is the picture of a mirror on the bullet journal. Mirrors play a pivotal role with rich symbolism in fairytales. The evil queen in Snow White affirms her beauty with a mirror and the Beast, in Beauty and the Beast, uses a magical mirror to observe distant places.
