READ BEFORE YOU BUY
Every product we create is the result of careful hands and the choicest raw materials. However due to the handcrafted process of making every single product one - by -one, no product is identical.
NOTEBOOKS
As each book is hand-bound, no two pieces are ever identical. All products are individually inspected and approved for quality and finish before dispatch.
Each hardbound journal/planner is carefully assembled by hand, using traditional bookbinding methods that ensure durability and longevity. The endpaper inside the front and back covers is an essential part of the binding, securely glued to hold the book block in place. It is not a writable page and should not be lifted, tugged or pulled apart, as doing so may cause tearing along the hinge and thus destroy the integrity of the book and binding.
The hardcover is a cellulose material and hence any dropping, rough usage, or exposing the notebook to harsh conditions would dent, deform, discolour or disintegrate the cover page. This is the normal behaviour and hence proper care needs to be kept in mind if you want the notebook to last long.
Similarly, the expandable back pocket is adhesively fixed to the rear cover to maintain structure and strength. It is designed for light use, gentle insertion and storage of papers, photos, or stickers and not for being pulled open beyond its flexible limit or to be stuffed to its limits. The same applies to the elastic enclosure band and pen loops. All elastic products loose their tautness with use and its considered regular wear and tear and not a defect.
At times, you might come across tiny details like a few pages slightly stuck together, a small bump along the cover, a faint smudge, or a gentle peel, stains, marks, discolouration which you might notice upon opening or during use, these are not automatically considered imperfections or manufacturing defects. Each and every case would be considered case on case basis and our decision would be binding and final.
Because every notebook is handcrafted from natural and locally sourced materials, subtle variations are inevitable. The paper may respond differently across seasons or production lots, showing slight changes in texture or tone. The cover material too may vary in grain, softness, tactile feel or sheen depending on the batch, humidity, and climate at the time of production.
Various inks react in uniques ways with different nibs, pressure, humidity and writing speed as thus, though our papers have been extensively tested for various inks and fountain pens, please use caution and the last/notes page as a pen test page to check ghosting, bleeding or see through are as per your liking and requirements. We do not claim 100% fountain pen compatibility for all inks and nibs and you should not assume so. The same applies to all writing instruments like markers, paints, pigments and brushes. We would absolutely not be held liable for any damages or issues, directly or indirectly, that would arise out of the usage of our products or services.
All notebooks and journals are stitched by hand and hence have absolute flexibility These are not flaws but quiet signatures of craftsmanship — reminders that your notebook was made with care, not mass-produced.
VEGAN LEATHER / LEATHER PRODUCTS
For our organisers and leather collections, please note that minor variations in grain, texture, tautness or tone are natural. Over time, light PU / Leather discolouration or a temporarily stiff zipper may occur due to temperature and humidity shifts. These are normal ageing characteristics of handcrafted goods and do not affect functionality or product appeal and are hence not defects.
When you first start using the organiser, it may not lay down or close completely flat. Over time, it will settle in and fit more comfortably in your hands. Marks, scuffs, natural patinas and mild imperfections like thickness and subtle colour variations are part of the handcrafting processes and do not construe defect.
Zips are checked throughly before being fitted and any breakages, runnability or finish would be checked before shipping. If in at any rare instance you have a product which has any implied imperfection we would reserve the right to check the product and usage before taking your case forward.
COLORS
Due to the limitations of the display technology and the non uniformity across viewing devices, the actual colour of the product might differ from the photograph of the product.
We take utmost effort to ensure that the colour is reproduced as much close to the actual product in all our photograph but observed deviation to the same cannot be construed as wrongful depiction as we are unable to guarantee that the colour you will see on your screen will completely reflect the true colour of the product ordered.
PERSONALISATIONS AND CUSTOMISATIONS
All personalisations and customisations are done based on general norms of manufacturing. Metal foils, laser engravings, embossing all have their own limitations and nuances too long to be addressed. Sufficient effort would be taken to ensure that the personalisation procedure is done optimally and an approval would be taken before the personalisation is carried out, but any errors in font, spellings, artworks, layout, size, foil colours would not be binding on us after the customisation has been carried out on the product. Due to the manufacturing limitations faced in these processes, subsequently any peeling, reduced print clarity, lack of lustre or any implied deficit of quality would not be binding on us and would not be liable for the same.
SHIPPING
Shipment and delivery dates are estimates only. We are not liable for any delays incurred by third-party couriers, including but not limited to weather conditions, customs holds, or carrier issues. In the event of a significant delay, we will make reasonable attempts to inform you. In no case shall we be liable for any consequential or special damages arising from any delay in delivery. Normal dents and damages in the packaging happens during shipping and as long as the product inside is intact it would not be claimed to be tampered or destroyed.

For any return, replacement, exchange or cancellation request, the customer must ship the product back to us at their own cost with proper original packaging and tags for evaluation and also bear the cost of shipping the product back to them as well. The cases are handled on first come first serve basis and reply turnaround would depend on our case loads hence we request your patience.
