I recently bought this planner from Amazon, and I love it. For my personal tastes, it is simply perfect. I don't know for sure why I'm addicted to this planner but I'm guessing it's because of the following-
•The page quality is top notch. None of the pens and markers I've subjected this paper to have ghosted, bled, feathered or performed unsatisfactorily. I suppose though, permanent and alcohol markers might be another story ( but they vanquish the mightiest papers so who's complaining?). The square grids are the perfect size.
•The notebook size is very portable yet has ample space for the little plans and doodles.
•The design and structure is intuitive and easy to use. Every detail seems well thought out and useful.I especially like the vision board, the year at a glance and the habit and expense trackers . This is the first planner that has got me excited to plan and actually utilise the benifits of planning. The weekly format is specifically very helpful for me. It actually reminds me a little of the hobonichi weeks planner, which is very expensive and hard to get in India. I wager this is the superior deal, considering the price.
•Speaking of, the price. The quality and craftsmanship makes me think it might even be underpriced ( hope they don't raise the prices if they read this). It is worth every penny spent, if not more.
•Being undated is such a blessing for someone who has started their new planner in the middle of the year. Yes, filling out the details of the months and weeks by yourself is tiresome, but it also gives bujo feels without the extra hard work and time wasted in a bullet journal. The flexibility of an undated planner helps if you have weeks or months that are slow or un-documentable, so it will prevent wasting of pages.
•The looks. Ohh my, is it gorgeous. From it's black leather like cover and gold foiled lettering to it's sleek and minimalistic design, it is professional looking but also has a touch of personality.
•The fact that it's made in India. Neorah gives me faith that even Indian products can be high quality and affordable, if only the makers are dedicated and talented (as neorah is). No longer do we need the ridiculously expensive and hard to access notebooks and paper products from Japan, Korea or wherever to scratch our journaling itch. I'm proud of and grateful to neorah .
With all that said, the only minor complaint I feel worth mentioning is the question of durability. I have used one of their hard cover petite notebooks for over 2 years and it's resilience shocked and pleased me. I wanted to try their soft cover versions too for comparison's sake. After almost 10 ish days of rough and brutal use and travelling, the notebook has not fallen apart or anything but a few pages, especially the first couple of them, seem to flay open when you break the spine completely. I'm concerned whether the soft cover will endure as well as the hard cover did. They have a collection of organisers/ protective covers too which are on my wishlist, but they do seem a little out of my budget.
All in all, I'm in love with this notebook and brand with my soul. It is great for personal use and they make for thoughtful gifts too . I've recommended this brand to all my friends and family and the few who have succumbed to my influence are extremely satisfied as well. My only advice, only get the soft cover version if you're certain you'll be responsible and careful with it (which unfortunately I'm not) or if you intend to protect it with a cover/organizer (yes, it's beauty might get hidden but longevity outweighs aesthetics).
Happy planning
